I have been teaching in the Washburn School District for the past 10 years. Prior to that, I taught in downtown St. Paul in a Hmong Charter School for 4 years. Most of my time teaching has been in first grade because I love the exhuberance the students have for learning about the world around them.
In 2003, I earned my bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. In addition, I recently earned my masters in technology integration in K-12 schools through Walden University in 2012.

My wife, Mrs. Larson, teaches Music in grades 4K-6. In our spare time, we enjoy going to the local beaches, working around our house, and spending time with Murphy, our Wheaten Terrier.
